adminKeymasterHi Diana! Yes Ill double check the tracking number for you and email you with the update. For Assignment 6: Some venues come with a Wedding Coordinator to be there on the day ( most large venues will employ a wedding coordinator to work for them) but some of the smaller ones dont have one on site. So we just want to record which venues do, and which venues dont… I hope this helps!

adminKeymasterHi Rhianna! Yes we have a few students in rural towns- so your not the only one! Because the wedding industry is so large there are a lot of opportunities. Yes being in a small town will mean that there will be less brides getting married, but you also will have less competition as well. If you apply for a job at a venue, chances are you wont have lots of other people applying for the same job. Also I have found smaller towns dont have much knowledge when it comes to weddings ( i.e the venues dont know too much about running weddings) So, there is opportunity to approach venues- to be there sub contracted events coordinator/ wedding coordinator. You also could launch an online wedding business as well. One of the largest wedding decoration suppliers in Australia is actually based at Hervey Bay in QLD! So when your online, physical presence doesnt matter as much. Another idea is starting a online wedding inspiration instagram account. Other wedding companies then pay $50 per post for a shout out to your followers! So there is a lot of additional business opportunities to add to your wedding planner service. I hope this helps!

adminKeymasterHi Renee, I would update the canva app on your ipad, as there is a new release out now- that shouldnt have any of these issues. Also I find sometimes the desktop version can be better too: www.canva.com . I hope this helps!

adminKeymasterHi Wendy! Great Questions! Yes DIY is when the bride hires the items her self, and will set up her own items- so basically there is no labour charge – or work involved for yourself- hence a cheaper price. I have also emailed you some additional info regarding the swagging for the draping on backdrops- as per email. I hope this helps!

adminKeymasterHi there Margarita! Love the photo! I would read through all the tutorials first, then start on the assignment sheet- which is the pink piece of paper at the front of your course manual. Then you can submit the assignments one by one to: assignments@lamodecollege.com.au . I hope this helps to clarify!
